PHARMA JAPAN recently compiled the consolidated semiannual business results of 27 major domestic pharmaceutical companies. Combined sales of the 27 companies totaled \2,784.57 billion (-0.2% from the corresponding period of the previous year), operating profits \535.418 billion (+5.2%), ordinary profits \568.91 billion (+2.7%), and net profits \334.833 billion (+19.4%).
