With CiCLE Program Entering 2nd Year, AMED Should Release More Information on Grant Program

The Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development’s (AMED) Cyclic Innovation for Clinical Empowerment (CiCLE) grant program will soon be entering its second year. Through this program, AMED provides grants of up to 10 billion yen per project to companies and academic institutions creating infrastructure for next-generation healthcare innovation and developing innovative drugs. In the program’s second year, a new framework aimed at startups will be added to the current initiative. AMED will begin accepting applications for grants before the end of March.
